‘Jersey Shore’ star JWoww shares video after son’s autism diagnosis, showing his progress
Jenni “JWoww” Farley shared the latest update in her journey with her son Greyson, who was recently diagnosed with autism.
Farley, 32, posted a video (see below) to Instagram on Sunday showing her son echoing her when she said “red,” “yellow” and “blue.”
“The way he says yellow makes my heart explode,” she captioned the clip.
Farley, who first spoke of her son’s speech delay on MTV’s “Jersey Shore Family Vacation,” has also been documenting the family’s early intervention efforts to help Greyson, 2, on YouTube.
On Nov. 30, she shared a visit she made with her husband Roger Mathews to see a nutrition specialist in Orlando with Greyson in late September, shortly after she filed for divorce from Mathews, 43.
JWoww of ‘Jersey Shore’ files for divorce. ‘I’m going to win my wife back,’ her husband says
‘I’m going to win her love back,’ says Roger Mathews, who married Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley in 2015. ‘I have no intention of being a single dad.’
Their goal: to have Greyson, nicknamed “Bubby,” make it to kindergarten — according to the specialist, Dr. Jerry Kartzinel, without assistance from a school aide.
“I think by Christmas we should have a different guy,” Kartzinel told Farley and Mathews.
The family has lived in Toms River, where they have filmed scenes for the MTV show as well as “Jenni and Roger: Domesticated,” their Awestruck YouTube series with their two children, including Greyson’s older sister Meilani, 4. Farley also has her own vlog series in which she has shared milestones like Greyson and Meilani’s joint birthday this past July.
After news broke that Farley had filed for divorce, Mathews publicly vowed to win her back. The couple has since been photographed together at events with their children and Mathews has shared clips on Instagram of outings with Farley.
Farley’s fellow “Jersey Shore” star, Florham Park’s Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, 31, who just opened the Snooki Shop, a boutique in Madison, recently announced that she was pregnant with her third child.
Another series star, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, 36, who just got married to his longtime girlfriend Lauren Pesce, is due to start an eight-month prison sentence for tax evasion on January 15.
The next major life event for the cast: the birth of Deena Nicole Cortese‘s baby son, Christopher John. Cortese, 31, who lives in Jackson with her husband, Christopher Buckner, is due this month.
