Governor's Ball 2017 lineup: Tool, Lorde, Wu Tang Clan and many more headline stacked bill
NEW YORK — Governor’s Ball, New York’s massive music weekend on Randall’s Island, announced Wednesday its 2017 lineup, a bill headlined by some things new, and one thing that’s plenty rare.
The alt-metal nobles Tool, who have largely steered clear of festivals for the last several years, will headline the show, along with the acclaimed new hip-hop star Chance The Rapper, Kiwi alt-pop songstress Lorde and indie favorites Phoenix.
The eclectic comedian-turned-rapper Childish Gambino, Pittsburgh rhymer Wiz Khalifa and New York’s rap royalty Wu-Tang Clan round out the top of the lineup, which at whole totals more than 100 artists over three days. See the full lineup below.
Three-day passes, which go on sale Friday at noon, cost $275 plus fees.
