AceShowbiz – Daniel Craig has returned to the set of “Bond 25” after injuring himself while filming in Jamaica earlier this month. The 51-year-old actor was spotted back in the U.K., at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, earlier this week.
Craig, however, seemed to be still struggling with his injury. He was seen holding on to the door of a trailer while stepping out of a van. He was dressed casually in a grey-and-red long sleeve shirt, with an ID card hanging from his neck.
It’s not clear if he was filming for the new Bond movie that day or he was just observing while filming continues to go on without him.
Daniel Craig has been spotted at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire after injuring his ankle during filming of the new Bond movie in Jamaica.
Meanwhile, Norwegian outlet Rbnett has just published a report saying that the movie is going to film high-speed chase scene on the notorious Atlantic Ocean Road. The five-mile long road swoops up and down over the Norwegian coastline, hopping across tiny islands. The site’s Twitter wrote, “Stunt scenes, helicopter flights and driving at illegal speeds. It smells like rubber, action and costly large-scale production of the film to be recorded on the Atlantic Road on 5-7 June,” along with a photo of the narrow road.
Craig injured his ankle during filming in Jamaica. Following the incident, a shoot planned for Pinewood Studios near London was cancelled, but filming has been back on track without the British hunk as he’s given some time off to recover from his injury and surgery.
The film released an official statement through its Twitter account and it read, “Daniel Craig will be undergoing minor ankle surgery resulting from an injury sustained during filming in Jamaica. Production will continue whilst Craig is rehabilitating for two weeks post-surgery.”
The studio has assured that “the film remains on track for the same release date in April 2020.” Cary Joji Fukunaga is serving as director for the movie.
