Bruno Mars will play N.J. on massive new 2017 world tour
NEWARK — A whole batch of uptown funk is heading for New Jersey.
Retro-pop superstar and Super Bowl headliner Bruno Mars announced Tuesday a massive 24K Magic world tour for 2017, which includes a Sept. 26 stop at Prudential Center in Newark.
The 85-date tour, which kicks off March 28 in Belgium, also hits Madison Square Garden in New York Sept. 22 and Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia Oct. 10.
Tickets go on sale Nov. 21 on Ticketmaster.
Mars’ anticipated new album “24K Magic” is expected to be released this Friday. His eponymous single is currently No. 6 on the Hot 100.
Mars, 31, headlined Super Bowl XLVIII at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford in 2014.
